Little About Me!

Heidi Skrzypek is 22-year Vashon Island resident, with a 25-year background in destination marketing, devlopment, and corporate communications througout Washington State. She believes that trust is earned and open communication is the foundation of a good partnership.

Through her full career, she has supported marketing and promotion intiatives for retailers, worked on strategic marketing for the City of Bremerton's Harborside Development; the opening team for Seabrook - a beach town development on Washington's Coast; for Habitat for Humanity of King and Kittitas County; a communications for Hyatt Regency Lake Washington hotel; and handled communications for another Northwest regional real estate brokerage. A prolific freelance writer and reporter, she has written hundreds of feature stories for Gannett and Scripps newspapers - garnering awards along the way. Heidi first joined the Windermere Vashon team as its transaction manager, transitioning to a REALTOR role in 2025.

When not working with clients, Heidi is a competitive open-water swimmer and marathon swimmer, official swim observer, gardener, hen-keeper, and community radio engineer and host. She lives on Vashon Island with her husband David, on a "farmette" with chickens, honeybees, and cats.
